Product Summary
Time Capture is a facility to enable fee earners and support staff to record time on their workstation as they progress through the working day. Time recorded can be posted to the Access Legal Accounts system when the fee earner chooses.
Functionality
Time can be recorded in one of two ways:
Start/Stop Clock
A clock can be used to record time spent on a client matter. The time recorder can click to start the clock, pause the clock and stop the clock. Elapsed time can be edited. Time can be recorded against matters and non-chargeable activities.
The chargeout rate for each matter will be shown on the screen and can be changed.
When completed an entry is saved to the daily time sheet where, if required, it can be further edited before posting.
Screen based Time Sheet
The time recorder can keep the daily time sheet permanently available on the desktop and add items directly to it. All entries made are available for editing until they are posted.

Posting
Time entries are accumulated and stored until the time recorder posts to the accounts system. Posting will normally occur daily but is controllable at the discretion of the time recorder.
Time sheet entries posted to the accounts can be queried in the Time Capture System for a period of ninety days after posting.
